Mova S10/S10 Plus Robot Vacuum

Customer service is really bad!

A robot vacuum cleaner that is right up my alley. There is an app to set everything up and you can even control it by voice, a feature I really like in items. Works good and is nice to have.

The Mova S10 Plus is like that friend who shows up to help without needing much direction, — mostly. It does a solid job on daily debris, with impressive suction that adjusts on the fly based on whether it's rolling across hardwood, thin rugs, or deep carpets. Setup is easy enough, but connecting to the app took a minute, and might leave some scratching their heads. Once connected though, the app gives you solid control over mapping, scheduling, and zone-cleaning features, which make this bot feel more like a thoughtful housemate, or house-maid than a gadget.Let’s talk cleaning: the vacuuming part is a win. Good suction. It’s gentle on furniture, adept at dodging obstacles, and surprisingly efficient at not getting stuck in awkward spots. But the mopping? Think more wiping crumbs off the counter than scrubbing a sticky spill. For regular, light maintenance, it’s fine, but if you’re hoping it’ll tackle dried juice spots or muddy paw prints, you’ll still need to break out the mop and bucket. The mop water needs replacing often as you can guess... but that's pretty easy. And while it empties its own dustbin into a bagged base (yay, very cool and less mess!), a bag-less option to avoid buying replacements, (-$), might have been nice.That said, it’s not perfect. Carpets or heavier rugs can occasionally trip it up. But overall it's pretty cool. If you’ve got hard floors, light cleaning needs, and a busy schedule, this bot is a reliable sidekick. Just don’t expect it to fully replace your Saturday deep clean. Overall recommended!

I have noticed that usually when a product is packaged extremely well that the product performance will work well. This robot vacuum conformed to that theory. The packaging on this vacuum was very good. The vacuum itself is a little larger in diameter than others I have seen. It is seemingly well made as is the accompanying tower/charger. The tower came with a spare dirt storage bag which will be useful. The vacuum worked as expected, mapping its precise path. We don't use the mopping function yet but when we redo our floors in vinyl, will make use of it. Overall, we are pleased with this vacuum.

I have four dogs, so it gets a bit difficult to take time to sweep up their hair every day. At least I have hardwood floors, so it's not getting matted into carpeting. Anyway, this vac has been super helpful, and despite its compact size, it seems to hold quite a bit. I like that it asks for help when something gets stuck in the brush. I'm not too fond of apps for everything so, while I did install and use the app for my first time using the vacuum, since then I have simply pushed the on button on the machine itself, and it still works great, so I doubt I'll use the app again.Set-up was quick and easy, and the user guide is easy to follow. I like how the vacuum scans areas for a little while to get its bearings straight, and then it starts vacuuming. I feel like this saves battery life to not have the suction going until it's ready. It's fairly loud, but not any louder than a typical vacuum. The battery seems to last a couple of hours before it puts itself back on the charger.All in all, this is a handy tool to have and is very helpful with my household cleaning duties.
